In May I wrote that Marcelo Design X was becoming MDX. That was only half the story. The studio did grow into MDX, but Marcelo Design X did not disappear. It is still here, and now it has a clearer job: it is my personal brand.
Two names, two jobs
Marcelo Design X is me, Marcelo Cedeno. This is where I write about design, the web, business and what I have learned building digital products for clients around the world. It is my voice, my opinions and my story.
MDX is the studio I founded. It is a team that designs and builds websites, apps, brands and 3D experiences for companies that want more than a template. When you hire, you hire MDX.
Why keep both
Marcelo Design X started as one person with a laptop and a lot of stubbornness. Over time the projects got bigger, the team grew and the work moved from designing pages to building full digital experiences. A studio like that needs its own name, so the team and the work can stand on their own. That name is MDX.
But the ideas behind the studio, the lessons, the mistakes and the point of view, are personal. Those deserve a home too, and that home is Marcelo Design X.
